Jacilyn Goodwin, founding Dean of Academics for King's Academy, shares this Story from teacher Leahanne McCloskey whose deep hope is to invite her students to find a place of gladness, and there, meet the world with His truth, beauty and goodness.  Leahanne share her thoughts here:

"I found that our deep hope literally can relate to all that we study. For example, the first day of school or second day after we went over what our deep hope is about, and the scripture verses, we created heart maps. Also, the first book we read a biography of Mamie Johnson. A character that overcame tremendous adversity with grace and dignity. She achieved her goals. We related our discussions and our discussion appointments to our deep hope."
